Summary: The Idaho Pest Management Center (IPMC) Information Network proposes to serve as a focal point for pest management information in Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. The IPMC has the ability to respond to information requests regarding pest management and pesticides. The Information Network will foster interactive communication among producers, land grant universities, state and federal agencies and other stakeholders in Idaho and the adjoining Pacific Northwest states. The Idaho Network will coordinate with the WIPMC and PNW states to serve as a resource for local information regarding pesticides and other pest management tactics used in production systems in Idaho. We propose to assist with identification and prioritization of needed crop profiles and PNW pest management strategic plans. We plan to coordinate these activities through the proposed PNW Pest Management Workgroup, the WIPMC Comments Coordinator and the PNW PMSP Research Assistant. A web site will be maintained to provide pest management information to a variety of stakeholders, including homeowners.

Objectives: 1. Serve as a resource for information regarding pest management and the use of pesticides in Idaho production systems, including Master Gardeners and urban pest management.
2. Respond to information requests from the WIPMC, USDA and EPA.
3. Collaborate and coordinate pest management issues with a diverse group of stakeholders.
4. Maintain a website for the Idaho Pest Management Center.
5. Coordinate with stakeholders and other pest managers in the Western Region to develop pest management strategic plans and identify new crop profiles needed or revisions to existing crop profiles.
